How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

.....i was going to wait to make this journal until later, but i need your guys' help. so you've heard about the something special i wanna do once Tales of Doom is over right? to put it simply i want to turn ToD into a COMIC BOOK WOOOOH!!!

now before you say anything, let me just continue my train of thought. i'm very well aware that Invader Zim is copyrighted. i would not be planning on selling it, so don't start comment hassling me please. HOWEVER, what i was planning on doing was having a fan art contest. the winner (or maybe winners depending) would have the book shipped to them free of charge. i don't actually know how many people read ToD, but it sounds like a super fun thing to do

i /am/ aware that there are fans that aren't even remotely close to me though.

and that is where you come in. i honestly have no idea where to begin looking for an online place for making comic books. not even real ones, just those thin pamphlet styled ones y'know? if you guys have any places you might know of, that'd help me so much. also, i don't know how much it could cost. which is why i'll be opening commissions. so i guess if you commission me, you'll be helping in your chance to get a ToD book?
