I found a comic whereZim actually dies (but they're gonna bring him back, no worries) and GIR absolutely flipped, jumping up and grabbing people by the collar of their shirts to scream in panic before fleeing the room.

its a non-ZADR comic, but Dib is still part of the story. He starts feeling unease, and he even has a nightmare where Zim is haunting him. He feels guilt to, especially when he finds out that Zim wasn't even an Invader and his mission was a lie.
